Role of Artificial Intelligence in Homoeopathy: Implementations, Challenges, and Long Term Perspectives

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an important technological tool that supports multiple areas in homoeopathy, including clinical practice, education, and research. In clinical practice, AI is helping doctors to have easy analysis of patient data, to find relevant information, to maintain digital patient records, remedial differentiation, focusing on rational clinical decision-making, area of research and improving educational platforms. Recent developments particularly in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), clinical decision-support systems, and digital Materia Medica have increased the possibility of potential combination of AI and homoeopathy.
In the area of research, AI can be useful in the analysis of large amounts of clinical data, identifying patterns, developing predictive models, conducting systematic reviews, and suggesting new areas for research. These applications may help in improving the quality of research and support the development of evidence-based homoeopathic practice. However, at any cost AI cannot replace the role of Physician’s ability to understand patient's unique symptoms, constitution, emotions, personal experiences, or to develop the doctor–patient relationship making it as just a supportive tool that can assist doctors, teachers, students, and researchers without reframing the basic principles of homoeopathic care.
