Sciatica and its Homoeopathic Therapeutics

According to modern terminologies, ‘Sciatica’ is referred to as Lumbar Radiculopathy (LRP) which refers to pain in the lumbosacral region descending down to the leg. Sciatica is more prevalent in the age group of 30 – 40 years where the signs and symptoms depend on the underlying pathological condition present along the sciatic nerve. Considering the adverse effects of the modern medication, homoeopathy is found to be effective in treating pain. The article consists of different assessment scales and therapeutic medicines in treating sciatica.
