Ethics and Publication Policies

Ethics and Malpractice

AABR follows internationally accepted principles of publication ethics and expects every participant in the publication process to act honestly and responsibly. Authors should submit accurate and original research, reviewers should provide unbiased evaluations, editors should make independent decisions based on scientific merit, and the publisher should safeguard the integrity of the scholarly record. Any allegation of misconduct is investigated fairly and confidentially.

Authorship

Only individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis or interpretation of the research should be listed as authors. Every author must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to be accountable for its contents. Individuals who contributed only technical, financial or administrative support should be acknowledged but should not be listed as authors.

Originality and Plagiarism

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original and must not contain plagiarized material. Authors are responsible for properly citing the work of others and obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material when necessary. The journal may screen manuscripts using plagiarism detection software, and confirmed cases of plagiarism or extensive text recycling may lead to rejection or retraction.

Duplicate Submission

A manuscript must not be submitted simultaneously to more than one journal or published elsewhere in substantially the same form. Authors should disclose any closely related publications or preprints at the time of submission so that editors can evaluate possible overlap.

Data Fabrication and Falsification

Fabrication, falsification, selective reporting or manipulation of research data, images or results are serious forms of scientific misconduct. Authors should retain original data and provide them when requested by the editors for verification.

Ethical Approval

Research involving human participants, animals or sensitive biological materials must receive prior approval from an appropriate ethics committee. The manuscript should clearly identify the approving authority and confirm that all applicable ethical standards and institutional guidelines were followed.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers and editors should disclose any financial, professional or personal relationships that could influence the objectivity of the research or editorial decision. Full transparency helps maintain confidence in the published work.

Funding Disclosure

All financial support, grants, institutional assistance and sponsorship received for the research should be acknowledged in the manuscript. The role of the funding organization, if any, should also be disclosed.

Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to preserve and share research data whenever possible. A data availability statement should explain where supporting data can be accessed or provide the reason why access is restricted.

Artificial Intelligence Policy

Artificial intelligence tools may be used only as research or language-assistance tools. AI systems cannot be listed as authors because they cannot accept responsibility for the work. Any significant use of AI for writing, image generation, analysis or coding should be disclosed in the manuscript.

Review Process

The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Every suitable manuscript is evaluated by independent experts for originality, scientific quality, methodology, ethical compliance and relevance to the journal before an editorial decision is made.

Editorial Responsibilities

Editors evaluate submissions fairly without discrimination and maintain confidentiality throughout the review process. Decisions are based solely on scientific quality, originality and ethical compliance, independent of commercial or personal interests.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers should provide objective, constructive and confidential assessments. They should identify relevant literature, report ethical concerns, avoid conflicts of interest and complete reviews within the requested time whenever possible.

Corrections and Retractions

If significant errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, the journal may publish corrections, expressions of concern or retractions to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

Copyright

Authors must ensure that their submission does not infringe copyright or intellectual property rights. Copyright and licensing arrangements are governed by the journal's publication agreement and applicable publishing policies.

Disclaimer

The opinions expressed in published articles are solely those of the authors. Neither the editors nor the publisher accepts responsibility for errors, interpretations or consequences arising from the use of published information.
