Biosafety level 2 is recommended for personnel  working with clinical speciemens that may contain dimorphic fungi and other  pathogenic fungi. If the filamentous fungus form of a dimorphic fungus is  growing or suspected, Biosafty Level 3 and containment should be adopted  waering a N95 mask. Dangerous fungi like Blast, cocci, praccoci, sporotrix  Cryptococcus should be worked in a class II or III biosafet cabinet. Only vertical  laminar-flow biological safety cabinets should be used in medical mycology.
