Synopsis

One of the most important but fairly understood subjects in bovine  infertility is the “repeat breeding” in milch animals. These animals show  estrous cycles of normal duration, without clinical signs of entail diseases  and on rectal palpation show no abnormaility. Abortions in animals are not  uncommon. There are number of factors responsible for reprudtive tract  abnormalities like bacteria, hormones, nutritional deficiencies and fungi. Pal  (2015) opines that future studies on the pathogenesis and epidemiology of  disease will be rewarding.
