The Ferrum series in Homoeopathy, covering Potassium to Krypton, reflects themes of duties, competencies, and tasks as people cultivate skills to establish their identity, family, relationships, and financial stability within a framework of rational moral judgment. Its 18 stages move from a sense of conscientious duty and fear of criticism or failure, through periods of indecision and collapse, swings between success and failure, persistence fueled by embarrassment, overwork and control resulting in physical strain, to eventual decline, desperate dependence, apathy, isolation, and finally resigned contentment often accompanied by disruptions in protein regulation in muscles, bones, nerves, and glands.
